Mother's Day Tradition

Tay House has a long-standing tradition of delivering red roses to our mothers on Mother's Day. Each year the scouts meet at the cabin on the second Sunday of May and set out delivering roses to the troop's mothers. The mothers of each current scout, as well as the living mothers of the troop's more than 300 Eagle Scouts, are presented a rose and a greeting card at their doorstep by a uniformed scout that morning. Mothers that no longer live in the greater Rochester area receive a card by mail.

The annual troop photo is also taken each year on Mother's Day morning.
