Tay House Webelos Youth Adventure Award
Troop 19 (Tay House) has a long-standing tradition of outdoor adventure and has a year-round camping program. The youth leadership in Tay House encourages passion for adventure and leadership in the Webelos Scout program within the High Falls District. Tay House wants to recognize Webelos who show a passion for adventure and leadership.
Four Webelos scouts will be selected to reserve this award every year.
Program Highlights
- First High Falls District program run by youth to recognize Webelos Scouts.
- Promotes skills for a successful Scouting program.
- Awards four camperships to Seneca Waterways summer camp. There will be one (1) $100, one (1) $50, and two (2) $25 camperships. The award is for Webelos’s first year of summer camp as a Scout.
Application Process
- Webelos Scouts submit application through Tay House website by April 22, 2024 11:59 pm
- Youth Leaders of Tay House reviews applications. The process will be overseen by the High Falls District staff and Adult Scout staff of Tay House.
- Applicants must be registered Webelos Scouts in the High Falls District.
- Winners will receive an email by May 6, 2024.
- Tay House will present the award to the winners.
