Open House & Carnival

On Saturday, June 15, 2019, the troop hosted an open house at Tay House Cabin as part of the Centennial Celebration. In addition, a carnival in the style of those hosted by the troop from 1938 through 1968 was held in the field below the cabin, complete with a scoutmaster dunk tank.

Scouts designed the carnival games with their patrols and families. Participants won tickets which they could enter into a raffle for several prizes donated by local businesses.

Troop memorabilia and many old photographs were on display inside the cabin, allowing our alumni guests to relive their scouting experiences. We heard many great stories that afternoon.
